Welcome to IBPS Exam 2012 news section.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) going to conduct a second common written exam (CWE) for Probationary Officer (परिवक्षाधीन अधिकारी) and Management Trainee(प्रबंधन ट्रेनी) on the behalf of Nineteen (19) Public Sector Bank. Persons who are eligible and interested in this IBPS Exam 2012 may read rest of the article for complete information.


Important dates:

Online registration starts :     9th march, 2012 

Last date to register online : 30th march, 2012 

Fee deposit between :         12th March to 7th April, 2012. 

Exam Date:                         17th June, 2012.

Who is eligible?

Interested candidates must pass the following requirements to give IBPS PO/MT exam 2012 as on 1st Jan, 2012.

Candidate’s age should be between twenty years to thirty years for general category candidates. Persons who are from other backward classes category having upper age relaxation for +3 years and if you belongs to Schedule caste and Schedule Tribe having benefits for upper age +5 years. Candidates should have certificate to prove their category for taking relaxation benefits.

Educational qualification : Graduation degree certificate in any stream required from any UGC recognised university.

About Selection Procedure

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct written exam which consist of an Objectives and a Descriptive papers. This test will be of two hundred and fifty (250) marks. There is a negative 0.25 points for wrong answers in an objective test

Candidates must be qualified in objective test as well as in descriptive papers separately .

IBPS will publish results for Probationary Officer and Management Trainee at www.ibps.in website and they will send valid scorecard to all qualified candidates at their postal address.

This score card will be valid for one year only. This scorecard is very important because when above said 19 back will publish advertisement for Probationary Officer and Management Trainee only for those candidates who given the IBPS PO/MT exam 2012 and also received the valid score card.
Application fee, registration and more information

Fee:  Rs 450/- for General and Other backward classes category and 

        Rs 50/- for Schedule caste and schedule tribe category candidates.

There are two ways available to deposit fee and registration
Online payment & registration (9th march to 30th march 2012): Visit www.ibps.in website here you will see online application form (PO & MT) link, click on this link fill the required information, upload images after complete click on submit button after submitting the form application will redirected to the online fee module.


Pay the application fee using your net banking, credit card or debit card. After paying fee take a printout of payment receipt and after successfully applying online a registration number and password will be shown you need to note these details for use in future to download hall ticket, checking results etc. You can also use print screen button on your keyboard and paste in MS paint to store in digital way.

Online registration & offline payment (12th march to 7th march 2012):

Procedure to applying online @ www.ibps.in is same.

Take a print out of challan form that shall be generated after applying online. After 2 days deposit the fee at any branch of Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, United Bank of India, Central Bank of India.

After depositing fee, IBPS will send you conformation mail about fee and successfully registration. And after 3 days of paying fee you can take a print out of your filed applications at www.ibps.in website with your registration number and password.
